Veterans, Active Duty, Reserve military or newly retired, If you have an empathic heart and compassionate spirit for our Veterans, please consider becoming a Hospice Veteran Volunteer. If you are a Veteran and believe these individuals deserve some extra attentions, you can be invaluable to their "end of life" journey. You could support elderly veterans in a nursing home, assisted living facility or their homes. We provide a patriotic blanket and you could be part of a ceremony to give a recognition pin and certificate. This can be powerful service for the Veteran. Your training would involve not only the hospice companionship portions but include various informational guidelines to use as needed.
