Austin Free-Net is seeking talented volunteers at the DeWitty Center, located at 2209 Rosewood Avenue in Central East Austin.
Positions available:
Technology Advisor: Technology advisors help us bring communities together through computer literacy. Communities that are in danger of being left behind in this digital age are getting the opportunity to reconnect to their social, educational, and employment goals through technology. By working directly with clients, technology advisors have the unique opportunity to engage personally in the lives of individuals who need assistance using technology.
Technology trainer: Technology trainers help us bring computer literacy training to the communities that need it the most. Through workshops and classes, trainers provide training to clients while encouraging self-sufficiency and goal setting. Technology trainers assist AFN staff to ensure that clients have a successful experience in workshops and classes.
