Chrysalis is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a pathway to self-sufficiency for homeless and low-income individuals by providing the resources and support needed to find and retain employment.
Our philosophy is that a steady job is the single most important step in a person’s transition out of poverty and onto a pathway to long-term self-sufficiency. Offering a hand up, rather than a hand out, Chrysalis empowers our clients to complete a self-directed job search.
You can make a real difference in the lives of those who are willing, ready, and able to become self-sufficient through employment by becoming a Tech Lab Session Facilitator! This unique role is part of a three-month pilot that involves working one-on-one with clients in our computer lab to help them utilize technology (phones, computers, tablets) in their job search. The ultimate goal is to empower clients to feel confident in using technology so they can continue their job search independently.
*Volunteer Shifts would be weekly or bi-weekly on Fridays from 9:30 am -11:30 am*
*PC knowledge is preferred and we encourage bilingual individuals to apply!*
Are you ready to help change the lives of our clients? If so, head on over to our website and submit an application to volunteer: https://changelives.org/volunteer/ or if you have any questions, please email us at volunteer@changelives.org26 More opportunities with Chrysalis Center
