Do you have a certified pet therapy animal and would like to bring happiness and smiles to hospice patients? Then we have a spot for you! Animals can reduce blood pressure, provide calm, bring happiness and comfort. We are looking for volunteers and their pet sidekicks who are interested in making a difference and would like to bring that joy to our patients. Compassionate Care Hospice is a community based organization committed to providing the highest quality of end of life care to patients, their families, and close friends.
The Compassionate Care team strongly embraces the philosophy that end of life care is much more than just treating the symptoms of a disease. Treating the spirit and soul are equally important in allowing a terminally ill patient to die in peace and allowing those left behind to be supported through their grief.
We enter and begin our life in this world with so much love and tenderness, shouldn't we leave this world in the same way? Come be a hospice volunteer at Compassionate Care, you will help be someone's sunshine when their skies are grey!
