A Crisis Control Ministry Community Ambassador will tell the Crisis Control Ministry story to congregations, civic groups, schools, and colleges.

This is an excellent volunteer opportunity for those who are only available nights and weekends.

Attend Volunteer Recruitment or Health Fair Events with or without the P. R. and Marketing Coordinator, Director of Community and Volunteer Relations or East Forsyth Manager. These events could include Community or College Volunteer Fairs, and church or civic presentations. The volunteer would represent the ministry in a knowledgeable, professional, and friendly way. He/She will answer questions, provide general ministry information and volunteer opportunities, and hand out ministry brochures to potential volunteers.

To provide information, tours, and work opportunities to groups and individuals during and after regular CCM hours. This volunteer would be responsible for the security of the building, handing out brochures and other printed material, answering questions, supplying ministry information, and offering a friendly, encouraging, and welcoming environment.

To educate the community about the services Crisis Control provides and to encourage more volunteer groups and individuals to discover the value of serving in our community.

TRAINING

Initial training and orientation will be provided with continuing education by the supervisor.
