Thank you for your interest in joining Saving Animals & Healing Hearts Inc Volunteer Team! We are looking for friendly, outgoing and reliable volunteers that enjoy being around animals and want to make a difference in their lives. We care for over 50 rescue animals including: horses & mini horse, donkey & mini donkies, alpacas, pigs, chickens, dogs, cats, turkey, goose, tortoise and one rooster! Experience is a plus but definitely not necessary! We need help in all areas around the ranch seven days a week rain or shine! All animals are fed twice a day, morning and evening. We need volunteers to join our Feeding Team! Different areas of feeding include: prepping, bagging, different types of hay, supplements, chopping & prepping vegetables, cleaning and refilling all water. Caring and making sure all of our animals stay healthy includes clean stalls and pens, grooming, turn out horses, hand walk animals, and giving lots of special attention, time and care to all. *If you have experience with specific animals, please let us know during orientation!
Handyman services are always needed and greatly appreciated! Including repairs around the ranch such as fencing, stalls, pens and gates as needed. Building new pens and housing, securing current ones and Welding repairs.
All volunteers must attend a New Volunteer Orientation (held on Saturday’s and Sunday’s - pls ask for upcoming dates)!
We can’t wait to meet you, and for you to meet our incredible animal family here at Saving Animals & Healing Hearts Inc.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.
We'll work with your schedule.
