Generous community partners donate food every week for use in our kitchen and at Esther’s Pantry - our food pantry in Milwaukie. In this role, you’d work with the partner (Whole Foods) to pick up the donation, transport it in an Our House van or a personal vehicle, and unload it wherever it is needed. Driver license and good driving record required
MANDATORY COVID VACCINE REQIREMENTS:
In furtherance of our efforts to protect the health and safety of our clients, residents, staff and volunteers and in accordance with public health guidance Our House of Portland is requiring all volunteers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by October 15, 2021. According to the CDC, people are considered to be fully vaccinated:
- Two weeks after their second dose in a two-dose series, e.g., the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or
Two weeks after a single-dose vaccine, e.g., Johnson & Johnson's Janssen vaccine
Proof of vaccination record will be required prior to first volunteer shift.

Mission Statement
Our House provides integrated health and housing services to people with HIV/AIDS. Guided by compassion, collaboration and respect, we provide 24-hour specialized care and independent housing with supportive services.
Description
HIV/AIDS is a complex and challenging disease that can often be overwhelming. The Our House team works with people with advanced HIV/AIDS who are having difficulty managing independent living. We tailor services for each individual that defines what "living well" means to them.
Consistent with our vision and core values, our Philosophy of Care is based upon compassionately and effectively meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our residents and clients.
