The City of Arroyo Grande along with the Arroyo Grande Lions Club will host our annual "Turkey Trot Fun Run" on Sunday, November 18th at Arroyo Grande High School Track. This is a youth only track race which age group winners will receive a frozen turkey, frozen chicken, or frozen game hen.

We need volunteers for the following spots:
Set up, Registration Table, Age Group check-in table, water stations, winner tag pullers, course officials, clean up.

Description

The City of Arroyo Grande Recreation Services Department is responsible for providing recreation and leisure opportunities for residents and visitors of all ages. These programs are offered with the hope that they not only meet the community's interests, but also inspire residents to try something new. The City offers community members adult and youth programs and classes, sport leagues, childcare programs, and special events which are highlighted in a seasonal Activity Guide. Specifically, the Recreation Services Department manages scheduling and reservations for all recreational facilities, including parks and barbeque areas, community centers, and athletic fields. The Department also provides staff support for the Parks & Recreation Commission's monthly meetings.
