Join ILACSD as we team up with the City of Chula Vista to bring you Break Out Your Take Out Container Day on Saturday, November 17th from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM! We are excited to help spread the word about zero waste practices and make it easy for residents to implement these practices into their lives by providing FREE reusable take out containers! At three locations along Third Avenue, ILACSD will be talking with community members about sustainability and building zero waste habits. Communities member will then be able to put that information into action by using the FREE reusable take out containers that will be handed out. Stroll along 3rd Avenue, enjoy a bite to eat, and take home your leftovers in a container that won’t end up in a landfill!

Description
I Love A Clean San Diego (ILACSD) is a widely recognized non-profit, environmental education organization committed to conservation and waste reduction. ILACSD operates a Recycling & Household Hazardous Waste Call Center, holds workshops, and provides community outreach and presentations throughout San Diego County. ILACSD has built strong partnerships with community members and local and state governments in order to enhance environmental education and awareness in San Diego. ILACSD provides pollution prevention programs and hosts other educational activities in order to create a safer environmental climate. Volunteer projects include community cleanups and storm drain stenciling.
