Would you like to help deliver patients to and from appointments in Harris and Fort Bend Counties? If you have few hours available once a week on a recurring basis, we would like to speak with you. Requirements of this position are:
- Sign up for shifts 2-weeks in advance to ensure we can plan and account for the number of rides we can support each day
- Shifts are either half or full days, Monday through Friday (Wednesdays are the most busy days of the week )
- Time frame is between 8am and 4pm
- Minimum age 19 years old
- You will ride along with certified driver to learn routes and expectations
- Must take defensive driving course, as assigned by Transportation Manager
- Be prepared to help patients to get in or out of the vehicle; stow away walking assistive aids
- Be prepared to drive in Houston traffic and in the medical center
