The New Britain Civic Association sponsors and annual holiday tree lighting ceremony. This year it will be on December 5, 2018. We need help with parking, photography and dispensing hot chocolate and treats.

The mission of the New Britain Civic Association is to foster a spirit of community by connecting neighbors, sponsoring activities and fostering civic involvement.
Description
The New Britain Civic Association (NBCA)-formed in 1953-is a non-profit, non-political organization which sponsors other community activities such as hosting astronomical events, the community Christmas tree lighting, and the youth summer recreation program. The NBCA also owns and operates the 14-acre Covered Bridge Park in New Britain Borough.
