Event Description:
Special Olympics Miami-Dade County Individual and Team Skills Basketball Competition will be held Monday, November 26th!
Volunteer Role:
Volunteers are needed to help with set-up, escorting athletes, running skills stations (ex: shooting dribbling,passing etc.), score keeping, awards and more.
Volunteers will receive:
- Special Olympics T-Shirt
- Record of Community Service Hours
Volunteer Requirements:
- Complete a Class B Volunteer Form
- Bring a photo ID
- Volunteers under 15 must be accompanied by an adult

Description
The ultimate goal of Special Olympics is to help persons with intellectual disabilities participate as productive and respected members of society at large, by offering them a fair opportunity to develop and demonstrate their skills and talents through sports training and competition, and by increasing the public’s awareness of their capabilities and needs.
