Girls Inc. is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to teach afterschool programs. Turn your talents, hobbies, and passions into a great afterschool program! Many of the supplies for crafts, cooking and nutritional programs are already in stock. Programs are scheduled daily from 4-5 pm and run 6 to 8 weeks. Volunteers may select a specific day to share their skills with girls who are eager to learn. Need an idea? Description
Girls Inc. of Jackson County offers afterschool programming and summer camp to girls as well as 5 prevention programs taught to both boys and girls in Jackson county schools. We offer intentional, research based programs to members during afterschool programming and summer camp as well as fun, interesting activities! We believe the Girls Inc. Experience equips girls to navigate gender, economic and social barriers and grow into healthy, educated and independent adults.
