Mind & Memory Program at Mission Hospital

Offered on an outpatient basis on the Mission Viejo campus of Mission Hospital, the Mind & Memory Program (MMP) provides a structured program of therapy. First of its kind in the country, this program is designed to address the special needs of individuals with memory concerns who in addition suffer from some type of mental health issue.

Volunteers are needed to assist with various parts of the program, including but not limited to:
-assisting with enrichment activities
-assisting with meal times, passing out and cleaning up lunch boxes
-leading brief exercise videos
-walking patients to and from the drop off location to the program door
-pushing wheelchairs around the center
-various administrative duties

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm
Volunteers are expected to maintain a weekly schedule with shifts of 3+ hours.
