Are you interested in seeing FREE theatre at the Walnut Street Theatre? The Audience Services team at the Walnut is currently recruiting ushers for our Mainstage, Studio, and Children's theatre seasons! All ushers are asked to arrive up to an hour and a half before the show starts to assist our Front of House team while the lobby is open. Ushers are then invited to stay and watch the show for free! Interested volunteers may commit to one date, or sign up for a series and see each show in our season. If interested, please call (215) 574-3550 ext. 558.
No previous experience is required. We encourage ushers of all ages to volunteer, however ushers under 13 should sign up with a parent or guardian.

The Walnut Street Theatre, founded in 1809, is America's Oldest Theatre. It is also the Official State Theatre of Pennsylvania, and a National Historic Landmark. With nearly 50,000 season ticket holders, the Walnut is also the most subscribed theatre company in the world!
