Meals on Wheels Volunteer Drivers are a lifeline for home-bound older adults. Drivers work one weekly shift on the same route each week. Freshly prepared meals are picked up from Broomfield Senior Center (280 Spader Way) between 10:30 and 11 a.m. Meals are then delivered to recipients' homes. Shift ends around Noon or 12:30 when volunteer returns supplies to the Senior Center. Currently looking for drivers for Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. All volunteers must complete an application and background check before service may begin. Drivers use their own vehicle and are required to carry the state minimum auto insurance. Must be 18+. Minors can assist adult volunteers with signed waiver.
