Life Source Hospice's mission is to provide care to patients and families facing terminal illness. Our goal is to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the terminally ill by providing compassionate and individualized care using integrity, heart, and knowledge. Our team will focus on empowering the patients and their families to achieve a peaceful and comfortable end of life experience.

Description

Life Source has been serving the people of Baton Rouge and surrounding areas since 2004. We’re locally owned and operated and, because of this, are committed not only to our patients and their families, but to creating a better community for all of our citizens. Hospice isn’t a place - it’s a mission of care. We provide care to people wherever they live. This might be at home, in a senior living community or it could be in a care facility such as a nursing home or assisted living facility. We also have arrangements with several healthcare facilities throughout the area, where we offer crisis care and care for those whose symptoms can no longer be managed in the home setting.

Our team consists of a group of highly skilled and compassionate physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, chaplains, caregivers and volunteers. They focus on empowering patients and their families to achieve a peaceful and comfortable end-of-life experience. The staff at Life Source Hospice is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to meet the needs of our patients and their families. We provide hospice service within a 50-mile radius of Baton Rouge.

Life Source is certified and licensed in the state of Louisiana and is a member of the Louisiana and Mississippi Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (LMHPCO).
