Architecture Center Houston will host the 11th Annual Gingerbread Build-Off on Saturday December 7th in Hermann Square at City Hall. We need volunteers to help with set-up, work in our Kids Construction Zone, assist in encouraging teams and spectators to compost and recycle, and event break down. Shifts are listed below.

7am - 10am Event Set Up (5-10 Volunteers)

9:45 - 12:45 Kids Construction Zone (5-10 Volunteers)

9:45 - 12:45 Composting & Recycling (5 Volunteers)

12:30 - 3:30 Kids Construction Zone (10 - 12 Volunteers)

12:30 - 3:30 Composting & Recycling (5 Volunteers)

3:15 - 6:15 Composting & Recycling / Event Break Down (10-20 Volunteers)

Description

ArCH Foundation is a non-profit education organization that promotes awareness, understanding, and appreciation of the ways in which architecture and urban design influence the built environment and enhance the quality of life in the community. The Foundation gives grants in the community, wards scholarships through an annual high school competition, leads walking tours, mounts exhibitions, and hosts various other public programs in partnership with other local organizations.
