Share your love of the slopes! Join our team of adaptive ski & snowboard volunteers and help teach adaptive skiing or snowboarding to youth and adults with disabilities. You will be paired with an experienced volunteer to instruct the same student each week. We will provide exceptional On-the-Hill training, a lift ticket on the day you volunteer and ongoing support. Volunteers provide their own ski or snowboard equipment and helmet.
Come enjoy this unique volunteer opportunity which let's you enjoy the outdoors, be active, meet amazing people and make new friends. Experienced and confident skiers and snowboarders welcome.
Takes place at Giants Ridge (mid January through mid-March) on: Sundays from 10:00-2:00pm*
*lesson times may be shorter based on volunteer/participant match-ups and availability)
Please note: new volunteers must sign-up to volunteer as soon as possible to make the trainings(it's done online and only takes a couple minutes!). Please try to sign-up at your earliest convenience, thank you!
Training (required):
Dryland Training: Saturday Nov. 10 at Spirit Mountain, Duluth (if missed, make-up session will be offered)
On-the-Hill Training: January 5 & 6 at Giants Ridge, OR December 8 & 9 at Spirit Mountain
