Administrative Volunteers Needed!

New Century Hospice is looking for organized, dependable, and flexible people to assist with clerical and administrative functions in the Hospice office. This volunteer will work directly with the Volunteer Coordinator on tasks directly related to the volunteer program and the care of our patients. These tasks may include: assisting with phone calls, filing, data entry, assisting with mailings, and/or providing general office support (among other things).

First and foremost, volunteers in this capacity are vital to the health of our company by ultimately helping our staff and direct care volunteers provide the best care possible to our patients and their families. Without people working in these areas, we are unable to accomplish our company's mission to compassionately and lovingly care for our patients (and their loved ones) in their final stages of life.

Secondly, all of our volunteers--whether administrative or direct patient care--help our company meet federal Medicare/Medicaid requirements for hospice agencies and therefore further help us in our mission to serve our patients and their families.

No prior knowledge of or experience in hospice is required. All that's needed is a humble, flexible, teachable attitude.
