What is the Celebration of Life?

In 1988, a small group of friends living with a deadly, as yet unknown disease soon to be identified as HIV/AIDS, came together to celebrate the spirit of the holidays. This community gathering inspired our annual "Celebration of Life."

Over the years the Celebration of Life has expanded into a state-wide event for members of the HIV/AIDS community and their family and friends and serves as the only opportunity many have to celebrate the holidays.

Celebration of Life relies on 200 volunteers like you, including many local celebrities and elected officials. It is also the largest fundraiser of the year for essential services at the Boston Living Center, New England's largest community and resource center for people living with HIV/AIDS, thanks in large part to our volunteer TIPS Servers who raised over $37,000 last year!

What is the Boston Living Center?

Victory Programs’ Boston Living Center (BLC) is a nonprofit community and resource center that fosters the wellness of all HIV positive people and responds to the changing needs of the HIV/AIDS community through education, treatment information and support services.
