We need help with transporting puppies and dogs to and from adoption events on weekends and also to & from vet appointments and shelter pick ups through the week.
Larger vehicles - Full to mid-size SUVs and trucks are needed and also smaller, 4 door vehicles are needed for weekend adoption events.
We also need volunteers for vet drop off and pick up and shelter pick up during the week.
Weekend adoption events: They need to be picked up at one location in the Missouri City area and transported to the Katy, Pearland & Sugar Land PetSmarts. They also need to be picked up at the end of the day at each location and transported back to the Missouri City area.
You can volunteer to transport for one location on Saturday and/or Sunday for both ways or one way. You can volunteer for either day this weekend. You don't have to volunteer every weekend.
Volunteers need to be 18 or older.
We will need to know what type of vehicle you have. Larger, mid-size & 4 door smaller vehicles are needed for weekend adoptions.
The puppies and dogs will be in transport crates. We usually just have puppies and dogs that need transport to adoptions on the weekends.

Mutts and Meows Rescue is a non-profit, foster based, no kill animal rescue group. Our mission is to save the lives of as many homeless and abused pets as possible. We do this by pulling from high kill shelters in the city and placing them in loving, safe homes through our adoption events at area PetSmarts on weekends.
Description
Mutts & Meows Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue. We work closely with other rescues as well as animal control departments in the Houston area to place dogs and cats in loving, permanent homes. Our pets live with foster families, so we know them well enough to make a good match between people and pets.
