Mission Statement
To improve the health of the Veterans we serve by providing primary care, specialty care, extended care and related social support services in an integrated healthcare delivery system.
Description
The VA Voluntary Service seeks to place qualified volunteers who have skill sets, abilities and interests that correspond with roles we have throughout at the Marion VA and all 13 of its Community Based Outpatient Clinics in IL, IN, and KY. Those who serve with the VA in various volunteer roles are individuals who love Veterans and who have a desire to honor those who have served us with their time and energy. Each and every role that is available is crucial to the entire Veteran patient experience from beginning to end, and each role works in tandem with VA employees who desire to provide excellent care to Veterans each and every time they walk through our doors.
