This is a training for our Christmas Gala. We cover what need to be done for the Christmas distribution on December 21 and 22. We are in need of groups and individuals that can help sort, and to make each families have tickets. In order to get their toys, food baskets and other items that will be pass out.
This is a must attend training.

The mission of 614 YPA is to help young people reach their fullest potential through education, mentoring/tutoring, prevention services, and community building. Helping one youth, family at a time where everyone is treated fair. And to provide when it is needed.
Description
614 YPA is a community-based nonprofit organization that works with youth and families in Franklin County. For nearly 25 years, 614 Youth Prevention Agency has been has serving Columbus community, particularly families with children and youth in Franklin County and in New Orleans.
What started as a Christmas program to help 6 families, operated out of founder and director Jynette Hayes's home, has expanded and grown over time; so much so that last year, the organization was able to assist 300 families during the holidays.
614YPF will offer an attractive alternative goals is to start a after-school programming, which will include goal planning, homework help, tutoring, positive socialization, field trips, and computer literacy opportunities will fulfill this need through programs such as Boyz to Men, which provides direction and male role models for middle and high school boys, and Just for Me - It's All Us, a mentoring and self-esteem building program to provide positive support to preteen and teenage girls.
Our goals is to recruited board members, find or get a build donate so that we can help more people of Columbus, to help each person to reach their fullest potential, achieve academic and personal success, and develop leadership and interpersonal skills. The sense of self-worth young people will achieve through these programs will help them to stay off the streets and out of dangerous situations. We help and seeking partnership, sponsors, and donation to make this happen next year.
