Paws for a Cause: Therapy Dog Volunteers Needed at Alzheimer’s Family Center!
Calling all tail-waggers and their loving humans! The Alzheimer’s Family Center is on the hunt for four-legged heroes and their owners to join our volunteer family. Our center is a beacon of hope for dementia patients, and your furry friend could be the key to unlocking smiles and joy!
Why Your Pup Will Be Loved:
- Our patients find immense comfort in the presence of therapy dogs.
- A little paw can make a big difference in relieving anxiety and stress.
- It’s a chance to wag away worries and bring a sense of calm.
What We’re Looking For:
- Friendly certified therapy dogs of any breed or size with a calm demeanor.
- Owners who are compassionate and understand the needs of our patients.
- A commitment to visit us weekly or monthly and be part of our healing journey.

Alzheimer's Family Center is committed to offering community-based long-term care programs in a therapeutic environment structured to meet the needs of functionally impaired adults and to provide respite and supportive services to their families.
Description
Adult Day Health Care. Patients benefit from Recreational activities plus a range of health-related services designed to maximize independence.
Social Day Care. A full day of activities includes music and art therapy, exercise and physical games current events, memory enhancement.
