Looking for someone to sit at the front desk of NAMI's LaGrange Living Room in the role of greeter, welcoming guests and their loved ones (The Living Room is a peer led alternative to the hospital emergency room for someone experiencing an increase in mental health symptoms). The Living Room is open every day from 1pm-9pm. This is a light duty role and is great for a college student who is looking for somewhere to to study and do homework, while volunteering their time to help the community.
Computer/data entry skills are a plus, but not required. Training will be provided and shift days and lengths are flexible.

NAMI Metro Suburban is an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. We are a grassroots family and consumer self-help support, education and advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives of people, families and communities affected by mental illness in the western suburbs of Cook County. NAMI Metro Suburban is one of 900 affiliates nationwide.
