Like playing chess? Become a chess club leader!
Stillwater Public Library is providing the space, a few chess boards, and the advertisement for an 8 and up, all levels welcomed chess club.
We are looking for a Chess Enthusiast to set-up and monitor chess club while providing and promoting critical thinking skills, strategizing, sportsmanship, and fun!
Skills: Any level. Must be interested in playing, learning, and teaching the game of chess.
Potential schedule: Weekly. 2-4 Hours per week. Fridays @ 4-5:30p, Sundays @ 2-4p, or Saturday Afternoons.
Length of commitment: at least 3 months.
*Game boards and instructional books provided.*
