Do you enjoy the game of chess? Do you like to share the game with others? Then come volunteer at the Albany Public Library's Arbor Hill branch! We need a volunteer on Wednesday afternoons to come in and play chess with the patrons/teach the game to new players. This is a fun way to give back to your community while playing a game you love!
The time commitment is every Wednesday from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.

Description
The Albany Public Library consists of 7 branches in the City School District; Washington, North Albany, Bach, Arbor Hill, Pine Hills, Howe, and Delaware. You can visit the 7 branches for books and DVDs, music and magazines, classes and workshops, computers and Wi-Fi, tutoring and tax assistance, arts activities and technology programs, study spaces and meeting rooms, movie showings and musical performances, book clubs and author talks, and so much more. Volunteering is vital to the health of the library and the community by providing much needed support to the youth and adults who rely on library services. Volunteers gain the skills and knowledge to help with their professional career and personal life. Student volunteers gain community service credit and valuable job experience.
