We are Mountain Circle Family Services, a private non-profit foster care and adoption agency in rural Northern California. Every year runners from all over the world come to our small town in Greenville Ca to participate in our Marathon/Half Marathon or 10k race to support foster youth. 100% of all proceeds from this event go directly to programs to benefit the youth in our agency, such as our annual powder quest trip, which is a snowboarding trip to Tahoe that staff take the children on. This event is put on entirely by Mountain Circle staff, social workers, youth advocates, and management. All volunteers enjoy dinner on us Saturday after the races when we host an after party/bbq for all participants. You're not only supporting a great cause, but allowing yourself to escape to a quiet, beautiful area in Northern California for the weekend! Your time is invaluable at this event and your participation immensely appreciated!
