We are having our annual Thanksgiving Day morning run, you can run or walk our 5K, 10K or the Kids' Fun Run for the little Turkeys 11 and under! Would you like to come out and join us, but you're not into walking or running on a holiday morning? Volunteer and be part of our race crew to help ! A successful event requires hundreds of volunteers and we can't do it without you! Mission Statement
Love, home and family for every child. We have three main missions. First, to keep children out of the foster care system, Secondly to keep our teen parents in school, and thirdly to have our parents maintain their family size.
Description
Chicks in Crisis started in the garage of our founder, Inez Whitlow, in 1997. She set out too decrease the number of babies entering the foster care system and being abandoned by helping pregnant teens obtain medical care, counseling, and other resources needed to make responsible choices. Chicks in Crisis has saved infant and children in the Sacramento region from abandonment, foster care, human sex trafficking, abuse, and even death, by providing programs and services that make a difference and impact the lives of those in need.
