YOU Can Help Make A Shelter Dog's Day Better & Brighter ... VOLUNTEER!!!
Have an hour or so a week?
How about just once a month?
That’s all it takes to make a regular difference in the lives of our AARF shelter dogs, as they wait for their forever homes!!! We are currently looking for experienced dog people who would like to volunteer to walk a couple of special-temperament needs pups, allowing them some extra exercise and fun times!
Behavioral enrichment is a key component of our dog care program with volunteers.
AM & PM scheduling options are available, 7 days a week!!!

Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends is a small group of concerned animal lovers dedicated to rescuing abandoned and abused animals. We work with local veterinary clinics to provide veterinary care to the animals before placing them in temporary foster homes, and eventually, loving permanent homes. Please check often, and contact us if you are looking for a particular pet. Thousands of animals in the Atlanta area are in need of homes.
