The Arthritis Foundation is the longest standing non-profit organization to help combat arthritis, while offering to help those disabled from it. Our local Sacramento branch is currently looking for passionate leadership board members who want to make a difference in the lives of children, teens, adults, and the elderly. Helping people suffering from this disease is one of the most gratifying experiences one can have.
Contact us if you want to help us in the fight against arthritis!
A quick snapshot into the responsibilities of a board member:
Board members are responsible for meeting a minimum giving requirement.
Community Leadership and Influence.
Financial Support and Outreach (participate in at least one special event-Walk to Cure Arthritis, Jingle Bell Run, Kids Get Arthritis Too! Golf Tournament, Juvenile Arthritis Day)
Volunteer Identification, Cultivation, and Recruitment
Many of us, if we aren’t personally suffering from arthritis, we know someone who is. One in five adults suffers from arthritis, along with over 300,000 children in the United States. Arthritis makes it nearly impossible to do daily activities...so let’s come together to support those suffering and be a Champion of YES!
