Are you looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity? Are you attentive to detail?

The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services is looking for volunteers to assist child care investigators visiting foster placements and/or residential treatment centers and helping daycare child care investigators who visit daycares and illegal operations.

Volunteers will assist the investigators with documentation, making phone calls, organizing files, and requesting additional information.

Volunteers selected for this role cannot be employed at a regulated daycare (center or in-home).

All volunteers are required to complete a background check, complete the online orientation, and attend trainings.
