NEEDS YOUR HELP!
The Gold Coast Railroad Museum needs volunteers for our 5 th annual The Polar Express Train Ride.
Volunteers needed for-
Pajama Greeters: are needed to function as guides for guests to locate their train car and assist guest with boarding. They will also function as greeters at the entrance and exit of the event. (Pajama wear is required!)
Elves: are needed to function as assistants for un-boarding guest from the Train, interacting with guest for photo opportunities, as well as Santa’s helpers at the North Pole. (Elf costume will be provided!)
Kid’s Activities Assistants: are needed to function as assistants for the Kid’s Activity Stations during the event. Duties include engaging the children participating in the activity, responsible for activity supplies, and keeping the assigned area picked up and organized. (Pajama wear is required!)
Gift Shop Assistants: are needed to assistant at the gift shop. Restock merchandise and supervise guest with purchases. (Pajama wear is required!)

Mission Statement
The Gold Coast Railroad Museum, Inc., is primarily a museum of Florida's rail heritage. Since there are other museums in other locations that deal primarily with local and regional heritage, the Gold Coast Railroad Museum limits it's collections to those objects and equipment that pertain to Florida's railroad heritage or are of National, International, or Educational significance.
Description
The Gold Coast Railroad Museum has three primary goals: 1. Preservation and restoration of historic railroad objects and equipment; 2. Display to the general public of historic railroad equipment and objects in order to heighten knowledge, education, and awareness of that public of the important role that railroads have played in Florida's (and the Nation's) history; 3. Operation of historic railroad equipment pursuant to the goals stated in (2) above.
