We are planting 21 trees within the Brookside Neighborhood in South San Jose. Planting begins at 9:00 am. If you are volunteering for this event please arrive to the site by 8:45 am to sign in. Bring water, snacks, and sun/rain protection! Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Closed toed shoes are required. This is a RAIN or SHINE event!

Our mission is to cultivate a green and healthy Silicon Valley by engaging community members in the appreciation, protection, growth and maintenance of our urban ecosystem, especially our urban forest.
Description
The ultimate goal of the program is to facilitate the planting of one million trees in Silicon Valley, utilizing one million people. We have planted over 70,000 trees in San Jose, encouraging community members to join us in improving the environmental conditions of their communities. We focus on making a healthy urban forest accessible to all by offering services targeted towards disadvantaged communities because we believe a healthy environment should be available to all people, not just those who have the resources to access it.
