LOOKING FOR 10 VOLUNTEERS IN 7 LOCATIONS in STL! Whole Kids Outreach, a non-profit located Ellington, MO, provides in home nursing and outreach to pregnant moms and families with babies who live in Appalachian-style poverty in SE Missouri. Every year, WKO hosts a Christmas store, where parents volunteer or pay a nominal fee to "shop" for Christmas toys for their children. Every year, we give away over 5,500 toys to 1,100 families who might not have a Christmas.

St. Louis Homes and Lifestyles Magazine hosts a Holiday Table Top Tour in 7 home design/decor stores in the St. Louis area. St. Louis Homes and Lifestyles Magazine asks volunteers from Whole Kids to sit in each store and sell raffle tickets for prizes. The proceeds of the raffle are donated to Whole Kids to purchase toys for our Christmas store. Last year, our volunteers helped provide 300 toys to children because of this one event.

Volunteers will be asked to sit at the store, and sell raffle tickets....an easy, happy job that buoys the spirits and ushers in those happy holiday feelings! A box lunch and snack is provided, and many stores have refreshments as well.

We are seeking 1-2 volunteers for each of the following locations in the St. Louis Metro area:

  • The Gifted Gardener 8935 Manchester Rd, St. Louis, MO 63144
  • Blue Dahlia Designs 7930 Big Bend Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63119
  • Marketplace at the Abbey 10090 Manchester Rd. St. Louis, MO 63122
  • The Porch in Wildwood 16957 Manchester Rd. Wildwood, MO 63040

  • The White Rabbit 9030 Manchester Rd. St. Louis, MO 63144
  • Mary Tuttle's Floral + Gifts 17021 Baxter Rd. Chesterfield, MO 63005
We ask you to arrive at your selected store at 9:45, and a representative from STL Home Magazine or WKO will bring your raffle supplies and a box lunch/snack. Dress is nice casual (no jeans, sweatshirts, athletic wear), and holiday dress is encouraged. You will also be provided information about Whole Kids Outreach and the Christmas Store to share with guests. The event ends at 4:00 p.m. (We are willing to split shifts if you can only do a half day!)

WE ASSIGN WORKERS BY STORE, SO PLEASE CONTACT CONNIE (contact info below) FOR YOUR PREFERRED LOCATION!
