ORGANIZATION: Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley

Kids like to party, too! Our kids activities area will feature a bouncy house, balloon artist, and face painting. Volunteers are needed to help monitor kids in the bouncy house and manage lines.

Duties

  • Assist staff and children’s entertainers with set-up
  • Monitor and control the number of children inside the bouncy house at any one time
  • Assist with line control

Special Notes

  • Volunteers must be able to stand for long periods
  • Volunteers must be 14 years old or older. Anyone under the age of 18 will need to bring a signed minor waiver to the event. Minor waiver can be found here: https://cdn2.hubspot.net/hubfs/2970065/PDFs/Get%20Involved/2018%20Minor%20Waiver.pdf.

Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley is seeking enthusiastic and philanthropic volunteers for its inaugural cycling event in beautiful Palo Alto, California. The event will be held on Saturday, November 3, at HP’s campus. Featured events include a 17-mile family ride, 32-mile beginner ride, 62-mile metric century ride, and our keynote event, the 100-mile century ride.

With proceeds benefiting Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley, Cycle of Hope riders will bring affordable homeownership within reach of hardworking families in one of the world’s toughest housing markets. Four beautiful, premium courses - from a 12-mile beginners’ ride up to the 100-mile Century for hardcore cyclists - will showcase some of the best views the Bay has to offer, and the Tot Track and kids’ village make Cycle of Hope a family-friendly affair.
