Weekday Daytime Cleaning Volunteer Wanted for a Family Affected by ALS with Two Young Children

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: The ALS Association: MN/ND/SD

  • 7 people are interested

A 38 year old man is living with ALS. His wife cares for him and their two children ages six and three. They’re hoping someone can help by cleaning their bathrooms, washing the kitchen and mudroom floors, and doing any dishes in the sink. It took their previous volunteer, who resigned to become a foster parent, 2.5 hours every other week. Because of their children, evenings and weekends won't work. They would like someone who can volunteer during the day Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday. By volunteering, you would eliminate one thing off their to-do list and free up time for them to spend together in a calm, relaxing environment.
