VOLUNTEER OPEN HOUSE - MONDAY, AUGUST 9TH 10:00-11:00AM
The Edmondston-Alston House museum welcomes the time and talents of dedicated, passionate volunteers. Our corps of volunteers are integral to day to day operations, educating and inspiring guests and carrying out the Middleton Place Foundation's mission to preserve and interpret history.
Volunteers go through an initial training process of following tours and learning the tour narrative. Once a practice tour and approval are given, the volunteering begins! For a low commitment of 12-16 hours/month with flexible scheduling, you will get the opportunity to meet many new people and learn many new things among other benefits through Middleton Place Foundation. Volunteers must be 18 or older.

The Edmondston-Alston House is a historic house museum operated by Middleton Place Foundation. The mission of the Middleton Place Foundation, a public non-profit educational trust, is to sustain the highest levels of preservation and interpretation for the collections and programs of the Middleton Place National Historic Landmark, its Gardens, House, Plantation Stableyards and affiliated properties.
