There are 2 day-long art camps (Studio Art/Mixed Media Mashup and Pottery) for kids ages 5-12 taking place at MAM since most schools will be closed November 8 for Teachers' Convention.

Volunteers will greet parents, check campers in and out, provide support to camp instructors, prepare and restock supplies, set up and clean up the studios, assist campers with making art, and play games with campers at recess. Volunteers must be in high school or older. Each shift is about 3 hours long; volunteers can sign up for one or multiple shifts as well as one or multiple days (there are also camps on November 6 and 9). When signing, please indicate Studio Art or Pottery. Volunteers should have some experience in general studio art or pottery (hand building experience required, on-the-wheel experience is a plus) if signing up for those camps.

Shifts:

  1. (8:15-11:30 am): Before Care + Studio Art (1 volunteer)
  2. (9 am-12:30 pm): Morning Studio Art (2 volunteers) or Morning Ceramics (2 volunteers)
  3. (11:15 am-3:15 pm): Afternoon Studio Art (2 volunteers) or Afternoon Ceramics (2 volunteers)
  4. (2:30-5 pm): After Care (1 volunteer)
