BARK For Life of Central NJ is seeking dedicated canine-loving volunteers to join our EVENT LEADERSHIP COMMITTEE and help make our 2024 BARK For Life event a big success!
BARK For Life is a community-based grassroots 5K Fun Walk at Bell Works in Holmdel NJ - celebrating the special bond between people affected by cancer and their canine caregivers. Participants will come together for a special event where people from all walks of life gather to walk, run, and play with their dogs. There are special activities and contests for dogs as well as entertainment, a vendor fair, and food trucks for all!
- Do you live or work in/near the Central NJ area?
- Do you own a dog(s) or are you an animal lover?
- Do you have any experience with -
- recruiting, coaching, fundraising, community engagement, media/publicity, logistics, event planning, sales, networking, sponsorship, grassroots marketing?
- Have you been personally touched by cancer - through a pet, family, friend or loved one?
- Would you like an opportunity to meet new people/connect with your community?
- Are you looking for an opportunity to make a direct impact while learning new skills and/or sharing your knowledge with others?
If so, we welcome you to join our BARK For Life of Central NJ and participate in a dog walk/fundraiser to end cancer.
By becoming a BARK For Life Event Leadership Volunteer, you can make a tangible impact in the fight against cancer, gain valuable leadership skills, and receive the honor and satisfaction of helping others in your community enjoy a memorable experience.
