Kids Standard Publication is a nonprofit organization with a mission to create a community of learners. Our mission is to encourage children to read and research; empowering them to write articles, stories, and poems. We publish students work monthly.

We are looking for volunteers who have a passion for education, writing and children who can assist our students and oversee the program, The responsibilities are sign in and sign out parents when picking up their children and working with younger students well.

We also have some paid position at Avondale , west Bloomfield, Bloomfield, Birmingham, Clarkston schools for 1-3 hr/ wk.

We do this with after school program which is for one hour per week starting October and ending in April. Younger students receive mentorship and guidance from high school students who are trained on 21 st century, collaboration, communication, confidence, critical thinking and creativity. Finally, students’ work will be published in Kids Standard’s monthly magazine.
