Hospitality volunteers create a welcoming, professional and memorable theater experience.
If you would enjoy making a guest’s experience at the theater memorable, your help is needed to greet, usher and seat guests and then (on occasion) set up and serve intermission refreshments.
The Marco Players need volunteers who love greeting others and have a desire to use customer service skills in a community theater environment where fun is priority #1.
Description
As an usher, you'll be part of The Marco Players' Hospitality Team. You'll work with a team of talented volunteers including the box office manager, a stage manager and artistic director. You'll be encouraged to greet and welcome patrons, check them in, hand-out playbills, show them to their seats, and, on occasion, set up and serve intermission refreshments in the rehearsal space.
Hospitality Volunteers receive 2 complimentary season passes to enjoy preview night productions for up to 6 productions for the season at The Marco Players Theater.
The production season runs October through May, each show's performances about 2 months. Orientation, training, and ongoing mentoring is provided. There are six main productions for which you may volunteer for at least one or all six during the production season!
