Elara Caring Hospice-South Bend, Fort Wayne

Make a real difference in someone’s life!

Great Lakes Caring Hospice, a leading care provider in the Midwest, is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life care to local hospice patients and their families.

As hospice patients approach the end-of-life, extra support is needed for both the patient and family. We are looking for special volunteers to visit patients at the bedside, to offer vigil and support. You could hold a hand, sing softly, read scriptures or poetry, and provide support for the family at the bedside.

Hours are very flexible - weekdays, evenings, weekends or on an on-call basis.

For more information, contact Patricia Fortier at 574-377-4063 or pfortier@greatlakescaring.com.
