We are open M-F, retail hours 10 - 3:30, and Sat 10 - 1.
Volunteer shifts are between 9:45 - 4:00 MF and 9:45 - 1:30 Sat (morning or afternoon). We are closed on Sundays. The volunteer requirement is a minimum of 3 shifts per month.

Donation intake is a busy position. The Happy Dragon receives a nearly constant flow of goods from our incredible donors. The greeter/intake person will warmly welcome donors, help them unload their cars, and distribute donations to various departments for processing. Must be able to lift 25 pounds safely and stand for 3-4 hours.

Happy Dragon is an all-volunteer charitable thrift shop in Los Gatos, CA that benefits Uplift Family Services which has a comprehensive network of coordinated services designed to aid children, adolescents, and families at all levels of need. Description

Our small but mighty thrift shop is staffed entirely by volunteers. We are a 60+ year old organization dedicated to funding important services to youth who might otherwise be underserved or fall between the cracks entirely. Our thrift store has grown a steady following and is always busy with both donation intake and sales to customers. We consistently give over $500,000.00 each year to Uplift Family Services.
