Rebuilding Together's biannual Rebuilding Day!
On Saturday, October 27, over 1000 volunteers will storm Santa Clara County to complete the rehabilitation of 22 homes and nonprofit facilities through painting, landscaping, and more within 24 hours!
Back at the Rebuilding Together office, we will be coordinating our volunteers throughout the day, answering questions, providing lunch, and ensuring smooth operations.
This is where we also need you! We need a small crew of strong and energetic volunteers from 3PM-7PM to assist our veteran volunteers at our office warehouse. Duties will include:
- Unloading returned project materials at the end of the day
- Greeting weary volunteers
- Organizing scrap metal for recycling (appliances, etc)
- Sorting project materials for inventory and storage (paint brushes, goggles, etc)
This opportunity will involve some heavy lifting (5 gallon buckets of paint, ladders). Soda, good vibes, and lots of laughs guaranteed!
Please e-mail Joe at americorps@rebuildingtogethersv.org for more information!

Mission Statement
Repairing homes, Revitalizing communities, Rebuilding lives.
Description
We believe that everyone deserves to live in a safe and healthy home. Through a vast network of volunteers, corporate sponsors, and sub-contractors, Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley (RTSV) provides critical home repairs to over 600 clients per year. In addition, we assist nonprofit organizations with facility maintenance and repairs so that they can dedicate their time and resources to helping our community.
Our largest program, Rebuilding Day, occurs twice a year - once in April and once in October. On these days, over 1000 volunteers come together to serve 30+ low-income homeowners and nonprofit facilities throughout Santa Clara County. The impact is widespread and life-changing!
As we focus on serving seniors and individuals with disabilities, we provide many safety modifications, like grab bars, steps, handrails, ramps, and lifts. We also paint the interior/exterior of buildings, repair skirting, siding, roofs, water heaters, and furnaces.
If you are interested in contributing in any way to our organization and our programs, please email info@rebuildingtogethersv.org or call (408) 578-9519.
