End of Season Glean

Join Spokane Edible Tree Project for our 5th annual End of Season Glean! Every year, SETP gathers as many volunteers as we can muster to meet in Green Bluff to pick the last apples of the season. We then send the apples out to those who need them most, doing our part to soothe the challenges of hunger and food waste in our community.

We will meet at Hidden Acres Farm to go over ground rules, how to harvest, safety procedures, and equipment training. We will then split up into teams to go harvest as many apples as we can at participating Green Bluff farms throughout the area! Please bring a water bottle, wear closed-toed shoes, and dress for the weather.

After Party Celebration

After we have finished the glean, be sure to join us for our end of season after party at Big Barn Brewery at approximately 1:30pm! Big Barn is located in close proximity to our meeting place for the glean at Hidden Acres. $1 from each pour will go to benefit SETP for the day, and food will provided for our guests. The event is family friendly, and all are welcome!
