SFCI Health and Wellness Center is searching for a qualified volunteer for our Dental Clinic. We are currently seeking a Dental Assistant to support our staff and volunteer doctors in caring for and treating patients. Dental Assistant would ideally have experience and knowledge of scope of practice. X-ray certification is a preference. This role would include taking x-rays of new patients and assisting the staff and volunteer dentists in treating patients.
To holistically heal and transform this community through two types of work: urgent relief works and preventive works. The urgent relief works such as feeding, clothing, healing, housing and rescuing are works that must be available for those in crisis. The preventive works of educating, counseling, training and spiritual discipleship will ensure that the cycles of poverty and despair will not be repeated.

The Tenderloin District is one square mile filled with 37,000 residents who live in 586 apartment buildings. Several thousand homeless pass through the Tenderloin daily.
We are a Christian organization that works with volunteers of many religious backgrounds and we believe that one personal can make all the difference in the life of a person in need. Here, we have mutliple departments to reach people of all ages and situations.
