Missing that new baby smell? Child Care Associates assists family successes through excellence in comprehensive child care ,development and education services. We are needing volunteers to assist our teachers in holding, loving, reading, singing and soothing babies from ages 6 weeks to 24 months for one hour shifts.
- Read a story from a rocking chair
- Talk to the baby in soothing and stimulating tones and words
- Sing to the baby in rhymes and favorite lullabies
- Console the baby with positive touch and sensitive comfort
Research shows that cuddling:
- Is vital to a child's emotional well being
- Helps babies maintain developmental and social milestones, such as self-esteem development, increased learning ability and greater self-esteem

CHILD CARE ASSOCIATES HAS SERVED OVER 568,393 VULNERABLE YOUNG CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES SINCE ITS ESTABLISHMENT IN 1968.
We have 23 campuses, and have head start programs in 75 ISD classrooms.
