Help us create a warm and welcoming environment to those who come to us in need. The Community Center in Waukegan is a place where families connect with others in their community for information, activities, and support. Through an array of family activities, classes and programs, The Community Center works to reduce isolation, support families, and build community. We are seeking bilingual/Spanish volunteers to greet visitors, answer the phones, and be of service to our clients.
The Center is located at 914 8th Street, Waukegan, IL 60085. Volunteers are needed during all of our regular hours which are:
Monday - Thursday, 8:30 am to 7 pm
Friday, 8:30 am to 4 pm
Saturday, 8:30 am to 1 pm
Volunteers generally work 3 hour shifts to help us cover our busiest time. Contact us for more information.
